Technical Parts Specialist

Air Equipment is looking for a technical parts specialist to support our parts team. The parts team is responsible for sourcing and suppling parts to our internal service engineers, our internal installation engineers, our trade customers and our online shop customers. The role is office based at our headquarters in Flitwick near Milton Keynes. Working as part of a small team you will be primarily responsible for answering customer queries and issuing quotes for parts to our customers. A key part of the role is to identify replacement part numbers for customers compressed air equipment largely based on equipment serial numbers or other evidence supplied by customers. This requires a working knowledge of air compressors and the principles of how they work and the function of systems within the compressor.

The idea candidate for this role will have had an hands on understanding of compressors or similar industrial equipment (pumps, Air con etc). They will have worked on the tools with this sort of equipment in the past and are looking for an office based technical / customer service role.
