Allan Dolby

Allan started his working life as a Technical Engineering Apprentice at Cov Rad Heat Transfer where he attended the local college and gained a HND in Mechanical Engineering. At the end of his apprenticeship the company went through a redundancy program and all of the apprentices were told they would not be retained. After a short time working in a local hotel, he gained a position as a junior sales engineer for a local compressor distributor. After 9 years 1993 Allan left to start up Direct Air & Pipework with his father. Direct Air are based in Coventry and Cheltenham.
