Derek Leith

Derek has had an association with Ingersoll Rand for 12 years, working initially for a distributor in the UK before relocating to South East Asia to set up a distribution business in both Singapore and Malaysia where he had commercial and operational responsibility.

Since Derek’s return to the UK he has held a general management position at MB Air Systems, a long standing BCAS member before extending his responsibility for Ingersoll Rand’s Direct business. He holds a BSc (Hons) from the University of Aberdeen, an MSc from Robert Gordon’s University and a PG Cert from Cranfield University. He is passionate about family, football and compressed air (of course!). Derek Joined the BCAS board in 2023.

Derek was voted in as Vice President by the BCAS Board of Directors in February 2026.
