Tim Preece

After serving an Apprenticeship as a Design Draftsman Tim worked as a documentation and validation engineer with Swiftpack Automation (now IMA) having followed a career path in technical support he worked for Staubli as a Technical Officer.

Tim is not only a qualified draftsman, he has worked on the development of the Internal UK Technical Library in the area of collation of data to achieve autonomy for his business unit. In addition, he actively supported the sales engineers with a great understanding of legal implications of customer NDAs to improve/accelerate the proposal process, while protecting the IP of the organisation. Tim has represented Staubli at ISO9001 standards and he is also an experienced senior manager.

Tim’s experience gives him the ideal background to further the development of the standards and legislation work that BCAS has become renowned for across the global standards world.
